Asian Caramel Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
4-5 lbs. pork shoulder/pork butt trimmed of excess fat
1 tablespoon olive oil
Wet Rub
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seed oil
2 tablespoons ginger powder sounds like a lot but it's amazing
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tsp EACH salt, onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Slow Cooker Sauce
1/2 cup coconut milk (I like Chakoah)
1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup Japanese sweet rice wine/mirin may substitute dry sherry
1/4 cup Asian sweet chili sauce
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha/ Asian hot chili sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Caramel Sauce
1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup water

Beef and Broccoli
Beef and broccoli looks so yum... Hope it turns out like the photo. 500 g gravy beef cut into strips. Chuck in slow cooker with 1 cup stock, 1/2 cup soy, 2 teaspoons minced garlic and tablespoon sesame oil. Cook 6-8 hours on low. Thicken with cornflour and add as much broc as you like, cook on high another 1/2 hour

No Mi Fan – Savory Sticky Rice
Ingredients
2 teaspoon sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 scallions, thinly sliced, separate the white parts from the green parts
5 Chinese sausages (Indonesian: lap cheong), cut into 1 cm slices diagonally
3-4 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked in 2 cups of hot water until soft and puffed up, cut into thin slices and reserve the soaking liquid
500 gram glutinous rice (Indonesian: beras ketan), soaked in cold water for 8 hours or overnight, drained
Sauce (combine the following)
4 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
4 tablespoon soy sauce (dark soy sauce is preferable)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground white pepper
